Kanał (1956)

Ahora en los cines está el furor por Dunkerque. Y bueno, bien merecido está ya que esta película además de contar con un buen guión en vez de tantas escenas de violencia en una "típica película de guerra", tiene su gran valor en la dirección y producción pues, ¡los efectos son reales! Los objetos son reales, a diferencia de tantas películas actuales que son puros efectos especiales....

Pero hay otras películas de guerras basadas en hechos reales sin efectos especiales. Una de ellas, y de las mejores en la historia es Kanał (Ancantarilla [El Pelotón de la Muerte] en español), la primera película hecha sobre el Alzamiento de Varsovia y que llevó a la fama a su director Andrzej Wajda (polaco).

En Kanał los alemanes están masacrando a todos los polacos, por lo que no queda más opción que escapar. El teniente Zadra dirige una unidad con los últimos 43 soldados hacia las ruinas del barrio de Mokotów, huyendo por las alcantarillas de la ciudad. En estas alcantarillas, no hay rumbo seguro, y el pelotón del teniente sufre varios percances para llegar a su destino. Desde traición para salvar el propio pellejo, hasta destrucción psicológica y amorosa se presenta en la oscuridad de las alcantarillas de la ciudad. El miedo, el hambre y el egoismo son la atmosfera en la que se decoran los personajes hasta que la desilusión se apodera de ellos, y no hay arma contra eso.

Película premiada y reconocida internacionalmente, y categorizada como una de las diez mejores del cine polaco, merece ser vista no sólo por la trama, sino que por los mismos efectos REALES que se usaron hace más de 60 años atrás.

Now in cinemas is the sensation for Dunkirk. Well, it's well deserved because this film in addition to having a good script instead of so many scenes of violence like in a "typical war movie", it has great value in the direction and production because the effects are real! The objects are real, unlike so many current films that are pure special effects....

But there are other war films based on real events without special effects. One of them, and considered like one of the best in history is Kanał (Sewer in English), the first film made on the Warsaw Uprising and which brought fame to its director Andrzej Wajda (Polish director).

In Kanał the Germans are massacring all the Poles, so there is no choice but to escape. Lieutenant Zadra leads a unit with the last 43 soldiers to the ruins of the Mokotów neighborhood, fleeing through the sewers of the city. In these sewers, there is no sure course, and the lieutenant's platoon suffers several mishaps to reach its destination. From treason to save its own skin, even psychological and love destruction appears in the darkness of the sewers of the city. Fear, hunger and selfishness are the atmosphere in which the characters are decorated until disappointment takes hold of them, and they find no weapon against it.

Award-winning film internationally recognized and categorized as one of the top ten of Polish cinema, deserves to be seen not only by the plot, but by the same REAL effects that were used more than 60 years ago.

Teraz w kinach jest sensacją dla Dunkierki. Cóż, to zasłużył się tak, ponieważ ten film oprócz posiadania dobrego skryptu zamiast tylu scen przemocy w "typowym filmie wojennego", ma wielką wartość w reżyserii i produkcji, bo efekty są prawdziwe! przedmioty są prawdziwe, w przeciwieństwie do tak wielu obecnych filmów, które są tylko efektami specjalnymi....

Ale istnieją inne filmy wojennego oparte na prawdziwych wydarzeniach bez specjalnych efektów. Jednym z nich,  z najlepszych w historii Polski jest Kanał, pierwszy film zrealizowany na temat Powstania Warszawskiego, który przyniósł sławę swojemu reżyserowi Andrzejowi Wajdzie.

W Kanału Niemcy masakrują wszystkich Polaków, więc nie ma wyboru, ale do ucieczki.  Porucznik Zadra prowadzi pluton z ostatnich 43 żołnierzy do ruin Mokotowa, uciekając kanałami miasta. W tych kanałach, ni ma pewnego przebiegu, a pluton porucznika cierpi kilka porażek, aby osiągnąć swój cel. Od zdrady ratować samą swoją skórę, psychologicznej i kochającego zniszczenia przedstawiono w ciemnościach kanałach miasta. Strach, głód i egoizm są atmosferą, w której znaki są urządzone aż rozczarowanie chwyta nich, a nie broń przeciwko niej. 

 Nagrodzony film uznany na arenie międzynarodowej i klasyfikowana jako jeden z dziesięciu najlepszych polskiego filmu, zasługuje on być postrzegany nie tylko działki, ale przez bardzo realne efekty, które były używane 60 lat temu.

No Man's Land (2001)

Siempre, cada año salen muchas películas sobre las guerras mundiales, sobre nazis, sobre judios, etc. Pero si uno se dedicara un día a ver la tremenda cantidad de guerras que hay incluso hoy en día (o hasta el 2017), seguro que queda impresionado.

No Man's Land es una película con contribuciones bosnias y herzegovinas (junto con belgas y frances) que trata sobre dos soldados que se encuentran en un campo, literalmente en tierra de nadie, a causa de la orden de matar los unos a los otros en la época de los conflictos balcanes o de las guerras yugoslavas. Čiki y Nino, uno bosniaco, y el otro serbobosnio tratan de encontrar la solución a sus problemas, pues, además de que ellos no quieren morir, por "jugar" con el enemigo, el amigo de uno de ellos está acostado sobre una mina.

Ellos esperan a las fuerzas de las Naciones Unidas quienes hacen lo mejor para ayudarlos. Lo chistoso de todo esto (porque es una tragicomedia) es que la película es una vívida y cruda realidad de lo que ocurre en la guerra visto desde un punto de vista humorístico pero súper real, recordarndo que la gente en verdad es idiota.

Esta película tiene desde soldados simples, hasta gente importante de los gobiernos y una periodista con un ojo excelente para cazar noticias, lo que complementa de forma perfecta el círculo de quienes deben conocer el suceso, y quienes contribuyen rotundamente en la historia.

La película puede sonar fome, pero vale la pena verla por la trama y los diálogos.  La amistad-enemistad, conflicto y paz, estupidez e inteligencia se muestran en cada parte de la película, la cual obtuvo, por cierto,  entre tantos premios, el Óscar a mejor película extranjera y el Globo de Oro a película de habla no inglesa.

Every year, many films about the world wars, about Nazis, about Jews, and so on are released. But if you take one day to see the tremendous amount of wars that exist even today (or until 2017), for sure you are going to be be impressed.

No Man's Land is a film with Bosnian and Herzegovine contributions (along with Belgians and French) dealing with two soldiers who are in a field, literally in no man's land, because they have received the order to kill one another during the Balkan Conflicts or the Yugoslav wars. Čiki and Nino, one Bosniac, and the other Bosnian, try to find a solution to their problems, since, besides they do not want to die, by "playing" with the enemy, the friend of one of them is lying on a mine.

They wait for the support of the United Nations who do their best to help them. The funny thing about all of this (because it is a tragicomedy) is that the film is a vivid and crude reality of what happens in the war seen from a humorous but super-real point of view, remembering that people are totally idiots.

This film ranges from simple soldiers, to important government people and a journalist with an excellent eye for news hunting which perfectly complements the circle of those who must know the event, and those who contribute strongly in history.The movie may sound boring but it is worth seeing because of the plot and dialogues. The friendship-enmity, conflict and peace, stupidity and intelligence are shown in every part of the film, which, by the way, has won between many awards, the Academy Award For Best Foreign Language Film and the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Co roku wydawane są filmy o wojnach światowych, o nazistach, o Żydach i tak dalej. Ale jeśli zdecydujesz się na jeden dzień, aby zobaczyć ogromną ilość wojen, które istnieją nawet dzisiaj (lub do roku 2017), na pewno będziesz pod wrażeniem.

No Man's Land jest filmem z udziałem Bośni i Hercegowiny (wraz z Belgami i Francuzami), które dotyczy dwóch żołnierzy, którzy są w polu, dosłownie w ziemi niczyja, ponieważ otrzymali nakaz zabijania się podczas konfliktów bałkańskich lub Wojny jugosłowiańskie. Čiki i Nino, jeden Bośniak i inny Serbowy, próbują znaleźć rozwiązanie swoich problemów, ponieważ, poza tym, że nie chcą umierać, "grając" z wrogiem, przyjaciel jednego z nich leży na minie.

Czekają na wsparcie Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych, które dołożą wszelkich starań, aby im pomóc. Zabawna rzecz o tym wszystkim (bo to jest tragikomedia) jest taka, że film to żywa i surowa rzeczywistość tego, co dzieje się w czasie wojny, widziane z humoru, ale super prawdziwego punktu widzenia, pamiętając, że ludzie są zupełnie idiotami.

Ten film składa się z prostych żołnierzy, ważnych ludzi rządowych i dziennikarza, które mają doskonałe spojrzenie na polowanie na nowości, że doskonale uzupełniają kręgi tych, którzy muszą znać wydarzenie, a także ci, którzy przyczyniają się w historii.

Ten film może wydawać się nudny, ale warto zobaczyć go z powodu fabuły i dialogu. Przyjaźń-wrogość, konflikt i pokój, głupota i inteligencja są widoczne w każdej części filmu, która przy okazji zdobyła między wieloma nagrodami, Nagrody Akademii (Oscary) dla najlepszego filmu nieanglojęzycznego oraz Złote Globy za najlepszy film nieanglojęzyczny.
