Gloria trata sobre Gloria (Paulina García) una mujer sola de sesenta años que básicamente nadie pesca, ni sus hijos, quien sin embargo, se stiente aún joven y trata de seguir y mejorar su vida, por lo que suele frecuentar lugares de encuentros y/o bailes para gente de su edad. Ahí conoce Rodolfo (Sergio Hernández), que si bien al principio es un loco bkn, súper buena onda y quien le da mucha vida, el hombre es un patán, un desalmado y un idiota que al final deja sufriendo a Gloria por lo que ella recurre a nuevos recursos no sólo para sobrellevar su vida actual, sino que vengarse de cierta manera de Rodolfo. Así transcurre el drama de esta película.
Sólo queda decir que sin duda es una de las mejores películas chilenas hechas en el último tiempo y que por ello merece ser vista.

There, he meets Rodolfo (Sergio Hernández), who at first is a very nice gentleman, a super good guy and who brings her a lot of joy, the man is a jerk, a soulless bitch and an idiot that in the end leaves suffering to Gloria, so she makes use of new resources not only to cope with her current life, but also to take revenge in a certain way on Rodolfo. This is how the drama of this movie unfolds.
It should be noted that this film has an excellent proposal for photography and music, but the best of the best were both its script and the performance of Paulina, which was very well valued by critics (It was even said that she is the Chilean Meryl Streep). And for which the film received 8 of its 15 awards in total. This film also struggled to fall into the category of Academy Award For Best Foreign Language Film, but unfortunately it was not selected.
It only remains to say that it is undoubtedly one of the best Chilean films made in the last time and therefore it deserves to be seen.

Gloria to główna bohaterka opowieści (Paulina Garcia), kobieta sześćdziesięcioletnia, która w zasadzie jest ignorowana przez jej synów, i która mimo to czują się młoda i starają się kontynuować i poprawić swoje życie, dlatego często odwiedza takie miejsca jak kluby ludzion w jej wieku. Tam spotyka Rodolfo (Sergio Hernández), który na początku był bardzo miłym dżentelmenem, bardzo dobrym facetem i który przynosił jej dużo radości, naprawdę on jest szarpem, beznadziejną suką i idiotą, który w końcu rodzi cierpienie do Glorii, więc wykorzystuje nowe środki, nie tylko do radzenia sobie z jej obecnym życiem, ale także do zemsty w określony sposób na Rodolfo. W ten właśnie sposób rozwija się dramat tego filmu.
Warto
zauważyć, że ten film ma doskonałą propozycję fotografii i muzyki, ale
najlepszym z najlepszych jest zarówno jego scenariusz, jak i występ
Pauliny, który był bardzo ceniony przez krytyków (nawet powiedziano,
że jest chilijską Merylą Streep). I dla których film otrzymał 8 swoich 15 nagród w sumie. Film ten również zmieścił się w kategorii Nagrody Akademii dla najlepszego filmu nieanglojęzycznego, ale niestety nie został wybrany. Pozostaje tylko powiedzieć, że jest to niewątpliwie jeden z najlepszych chilijskich filmów ostatniego roku i dlatego zasługuje na widzenie.
