Esta película de 101 min es bien loca y atrevida a la vez. La historia trata sobre una señora de edad que ya no tiene nada que hacer en la vida. Literalmente se queda sentada y ve tele esperando la muerte. Para colmo tiene un hijo drogadicto que le roba la tele para comprar drogas (¿quién no lo ha hecho?). Típico, este drogadicto tiene una novia maravillosa (y drogadicta) y un amigo negro (siempre hay un nigah cuando se trata de drogas -.-) quien obviamente también es drogo. La cosa es que ninguna tiene ninguna meta muy grande. Hasta que a la señora le dicen que estará en televisión!!! Entonces el drama comienza... Sin querer queriendo la señora también se ve envuelta en drogas pero con un final completamente inesperado aunque en parte deseado. Todos tienen distintos sueños, que se ven claramente en la película. Todos sufren pero y en verdad no los logran. La única forma de sentirse aliviados es por la droga...
La película tiene un soundtrack maravilloso, con un cuarteto de cuerdas tocado por Kronos Quartft. La película merece ser vista!!! Pero por favor, sin madres. Yo tuve la mala idea de verla con la mía, y a cada rato se ponía a decir "ay, qué horroroso y blah blah blah"....
Como siempre, soy pésimo diciendo de qué tratan las películas, pero en verdad hace tiempo no veía una película tan bien realizada, así que véanla CTM!

This
film (based on the Hubert Selby Jr novel) is directed by one of my
favorite directors, Darren Aronofsky <3 (who has also produced Pi and
the Black Swan among other spectacular films). Although I think you fall in love when you see Jennifer Connelly (the same as A Beautiful Mind <3 <3 <3). Since then one knows that this film offers a lot.
This 101 min movie is both crazy and daring at the same time. The story is about an old lady who has nothing to do in life. She literally sits and watches TV waiting for death. To top it off she has a drug addict son who steals her TV to buy drugs (¿who would not do it?). As usual, this junkie has a sexy girlfriend (and drug addict) and a black friend (there is always a nigga when it comes to drugs -.-) who obviously is also druggy. The thing is that no one has any big goal. Until the old woman receives an invitation in order to be on TV !!! Then the drama begins ... Unintentionally wanting the woman is also involved in drugs but with a completely unexpected, and partly desired end. Everyone has different dreams, which are clearly seen in the film. Everyone suffers but does not really succeed. The only way to feel relieved is by drugs...
The film has a wonderful soundtrack, with a string quartet played by Kronos Quartft. The film deserves to be seen!!! But please, no mothers. I had the bad idea to see it with mine, and every now and then she started to say "oh, how awful and blah blah blah"....
As always, I am lousy saying what the films are about, but for sure I have not seen a film so wonderfully developed and produced, so see it CTM!

Ten film (oparty na powieści Huberta Selby Jr) jest reżyserowany przez jednego z moich ulubionych reżyserów, Darren Aronofsky <3 (który także wyprodukował "Pi" i "Czarny Łabędź" wśród innych spektakularnych filmów). Chociaż myślę, że zakochujesz się, gdy widzisz Jennifera Connelly (taka sama z A Beautiful Mind <3 <3 <3). Od tego czasu wiadomo, że ten film oferuje dużo.
Ten 101-minutowy film jest zarówno szalony jak i śmiały w tym samym czasie. Opowieść o starą damę, która nie ma nic do roboty w życiu. Ona dosłownie siedzi i ogląda telewizję czekającą na śmierć. Na dodatek ma syna uzależnione od narkotyków, który kradnie telewizor, aby kupić narkotyki (kto tego nie zrobił?). Jak zwykle ten narkoman ma seksowną dziewczynę (i uzależniona od narkotyków) i czarny przyjaciel (zawsze to jest nigga, jeśli chodzi o narkotyki -.-), który oczywiście jest również narkoman. Rzecz w tym, że nikt nie ma większego celu. Dopóki starsza kobieta nie otrzyma zaproszenia, aby być w telewizji !!! Wtedy zaczyna się dramat ... Nieumyślnie chce, aby kobieta była również zaangażowana w leki, ale z zupełnie nieoczekiwanym, a po części pożądanym końcem. Każdy ma inne marzenia, które są wyraźnie widoczne w filmie. Każdy cierpi, ale tak naprawdę nie odnosi sukcesu. Jedyną ulgą jest narkotyk...
Film ma wspaniałą ścieżkę dźwiękową, z kwartetem smyczkowym granym przez Kronos Quartft. Film zasługuje na widzenie !!! Ale proszę, nie mam matek. Miałem zły pomysł, aby zobaczyć to z moimi, a od czasu do czasu zaczęła mówić "och, okropne i blah blah blah"....
Jak zawsze opisuję niedobrze filmy, ale na pewno nie widziałem tak świetnie opracowanego i wyprodukowanego filmu, więc oglądajcie to CTM !!!
